| چکیده | ||
| Bitter humor has long been a concern of literary people to criticize society and governments, to correct and avoid defects. , Maroun Abboud As one of Lebanon's leading story writers has used bitter humor in her literary works to criticize social political issues in a literary way. The aim of the present study was to investigate social political themes in short stories of Maron Abboud in the form of bitter humor. Therefore, in this research, the definition of bitter humor was first discussed, then, relying on the analytical descriptive method, the most important representations of bitter humor and Maron Abboud's purpose of using them in her short stories were examined. The findings of the research showed that Maron Abboud used all kinds of literary tricks to use bitter humor; She has used bitter humor to criticize the social and political issues of the society, especially the political and religious feudals of her society, and she is a harbinger of preserving human values. In fact, the author's bitter humor is a goal for stability against intellectual-cultural attacks and correcting the wrong behaviors of society and the government | ||
