Razi University is a public university based in Kermanshah, Iran. The roots of Razi University can be traced back to 1947, when discussions about establishing a higher education institution in Kermanshah began. However, it was not until January 1973 that the university officially commenced operations as "Kermanshahan University of Sciences." The institution was later renamed Razi University, in honor of the renowned Iranian scholar, Abu Bakr al-Razi (Rhazes), who made significant contributions to chemistry and medicine.
